INTRODUCING THE LABELTECH IT RANGE OF SLITTER REWIND AND CONVERTING EQUIPMENT Unlike other manufacturers who produce multiple models with similar functions, Labeltech IT decided to manufacture a single model that can be accessed and modified according to the production requirements of the end user in order to be more efficient in the supply of the machine and optimise costs. Founded in 1979 as a supplier of industrial automation gave Labeltech IT a background of knowledge that allowed us to be always up to date and to have a skilled know-how to use competently the latest innovations that the industry offers. In this way we can always offer an innovative machine, more powerful and we can also develop tailor made solutions for the customer. For example, the Plus version of their inspection system Furu was actually request by a customer. The IT range slitter rewinds use only servo brushless motors that allows the following:- • Achieve a high working speed up to 350m/min • Reset maintenance costs • Achieve a significant energy recovery (the energy generated by the main motor, that acts as a brake, is not wasted but is utilized and helps to supply other motors and drives. Estimated annual energy saving is 12,000 kWh. We are the only company to have developed this system) Since 2003 Labeltech IT have developed the software and electronics of these machines under request of CDS Italia, from which they have acquired the full development in 2011. Compared to the machines produced from 2003 to 2010 from CDS, they have introduced many changes to make it more ergonomic and efficient. Mechanically: They have lowered the structure of 20 cm so the operator can set/change blades, thread the material and remove the final reel from the rewind more easily. Due to these changes the maximum diameter of the final reel is increased to 600 mm using a single rewind and to 500mm if using two rewinds. The diameter of the unwind is 780mm. Software : The coloUr touch screen 11 " has been equipped with a new graphical interface to make it simple and intuitive, therefore reduces the time and cost of training. A day is usually sufficient for training the operator. Also they can make an effective remote support by simply connecting the touch screen to the internet.
